Affiliate Disclosure

A few links on this site are paid partnerships. They never change the accessibility information itself.

The short version

Accessibility Map NAGOYA is free to use and stays that way partly through a small number of affiliate partnerships. If you book something through one of these links, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This never affects the step-free routes, elevators, accessible toilets or other accessibility information reported on this site.

Current partners

Our first approved partner is Sakura Mobile, for eSIM, SIM card and Pocket WiFi rentals for visitors to Japan. You will see a short, clearly labelled “Partner” card for it on a small number of pages — never inside the middle of route, elevator or toilet information.

We plan to add a small number of other travel categories over time, such as accessible hotels, airport and taxi transfers, and tickets for accessible attractions. Any new partner will be added to this page.

How we choose partners

  • Relevant to accessible travel — only services a wheelchair user, a traveler with a stroller or heavy luggage, or someone with limited mobility would actually use in Nagoya.
  • Kept out of the accessibility content — affiliate cards sit in their own clearly marked section, never inside an elevator, toilet or step-free route description, and never immediately before or after a station map.
  • No pop-ups, no full-screen or sticky ads — on any page.

How to tell an affiliate link

Every affiliate card or link on this site is labelled “Partner” or “Affiliate link,” with a short note like the one on this page. Affiliate links also carry rel="sponsored" for search engines.

Other sites

Once you follow a link to a partner, a railway operator, a venue or a public body, you are on their site, under their own terms and privacy policy, not ours.

Changes

If this disclosure changes, the new version will be posted on this page with its date.
