Kanayama

Is Kanayama Station wheelchair accessible? Yes — JR, Meitetsu, the subway, the city bus terminal and Asunal Kanayama all have step-free routes and elevators, making this hub useful for wheelchair users, travelers with strollers or heavy luggage, and anyone with limited mobility.
Traveling with luggage or a stroller? JR has an elevator to every platform island, the city bus terminal is step-free from the station to every boarding bay, and Asunal Kanayama has five elevators on every floor. The one route connecting JR and Meitetsu’s west gate on the north concourse relies on a single elevator.

From the north concourse: follow ‘W’ for JR, ‘X’ for Meitetsu’s west gate — only one elevator serves this route. No transfer guide to the subway platforms was found.

JR Tokai Bus’s highway coach stop is on the station’s south side. It moved on 1 October 2022 to opposite the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya, near the Docomo Shop.
